Cons
Limited deck power.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Buy it as soon as you can!
This HU (Head Unit) is a very awesome piece of equipment. Panasonic is not generally thought to be at the top of the HU game, but this model, and the model's above and below prove different.
I do have one complaint about this deck. If your looking for a high amount of deck power, look again. It says it is 45 x 4, meaning that it puts out 45 watts into 4 channels. If this were true, you could, most likely power some highs and possibly mids.
When I hooked this new deck up, it didn't put a nearly the amount that my old Pioneer 40 x 4 deck did. What I did, was just bought a 170 watt amp for very cheap, and installed it. Then ran the deck only to my highs, and the 170 watt amp to my mids. So there is a quick fix to limited deck power.
Other than the deck missing some power, the features make up for it. I first saw this deck in a Good Guys ad, and liked the coloring of it. It has a blue neon glow to it, and looks awesome during daylight, and at night. The picture does no justice to this deck. You can find this deck much cheaper than the listed price, if you just look around, and know where to look.
This deck has the option of turning the bass and treble + or - 12 decibles, so there is some amount of customization.
Any other questions, let me know, i would definitely recommend it to anyone.
