Great sounding Unit!

Pros Sound!!!, MP3/WMA support,
Cons Display too bright!
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Reccomended for sound quality and features!
I got this unit because I wanted something with a line-in jack (for my Minidiscs), Changer controls, bass, ect. and no EQ. I wanted something that I could just plug in a CD and not have to fiddle with sounds.

The sound quality delivers STRONGLY. I have gotten nothing but tons of praise for the sound quality of this unit - even with low-bitrate MP3s. I use this thing as I drive up and down the Jersey Pike - and its great. The usability is a bit weird - I'd rather the track buttons be on the left, but the remote works well. The SHDB works well - dosen't flood your car with bass, but sure sounds nice. If you like "too much bass" use the preamp on a sub.

There are a few quirks. You see some of the reviews, and this unit isn't perfect. IF you can live with these quirks, though it is agreat unit.

- The one SUCKY thing about this unit is the faceplate is BRIGHT. This is the major flaw of this CD player. On MP3s the light comes on every new song. Its a pain, but there are two solutions.
Solution 1 - Change the dimmer control to turn the display off. It goes bright for a second, then dims to a comfortable level for 10 seconds or so. I have my radio in this "display off" position all the time.
Solution 2 - When you really can't stand the light, simply release the faceplate so it hangs down. You can't adjust controls, volume, tracks, ect. but it gets rid of the light.

- The unit is rather slow to initially turn on (about 5 - 7 seconds) and not very speedy at ejecting discs either. Not an issue for me, I don't like changing discs while I drive, and having MP3 support gives me like 12 CDs at once.

- While adjusting the EQ the music cuts out for a bit.

Overall a great unit. I enjoy it a lot, and it has all the features I want in a car CD player. Theres very little junk to fish through in the menus (which I love) and if you like to just put a CD in and drive, this is a great unit (as is the whole family of units).
If there's any way you can change the backlight bulb to be less bright, that would be fantastic. Aside from that, I love it and highly reccomend it.
