the best one i've had

Pros Clean sound with plenty of power and no skips.
Cons Slow loading/ejection mechanism
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  solid. great sound, design, and features.
After trying 2 Jensens, 1 sony, and a cheap xtreme sound, I finally found a good price on this one and decided to stop looking. Overall the player is really good.

The only negative thing I could say about it is that the disc load and unload mechanism is very slow, I mean it's slow!!! Well there is actually one more thing... the lcd display. It looks really pretty and it's well visible in bright light and in dark but I don't really know how it's made but when you touch it it turns white, like leaking lcd crystals. The first time I found that out i freaked out cause I thought it was already broken. Turned out that it goes back to normal in a couple of minutes but still very weird thing. I don't know maybe mine is defective or something. Not a big deal so I am not going to bother to check with Panasonic what the deal is. Other that that it's great.

My favorite features: The rotary knob - I love this thing it makes adjustments very easy, the direct trac access is something you don't find very often which is a shame, the cool blue color of the screen, the play pause button.

My least favorite feature: the direct memory station. It is very annoyingly places in the same big button that controls the skip and back functions. I often press that button instead and it switches to radio. BTW I hate radio with passion.

Now the best part is that the sound is really good. This player is yet to skip a bit even on the biggest bumps on the road. There is practically no background noise, plenty of power, 2 sets of preamp outputs, and a cute little remote control.

I can't really tell you anything about the radio though. As I said I hate radio so much I've never even tried it. It comes on for a few seconds between disc changes and it sounds good, but again - I don't know.

Overall this is a solidly built player with a great sound quality, plenty of features, power, and is quite attractive too.
