Being a lay person when it comes to the fine intricacies of audio quality, i will not be able to fully venture into the chasms of the Panasonic DPG-600, but i will be able to offer you, the consumer, a decent amount of observations and reasons you should put this system atop your list of things to buy.
This console is extremely easy to work with, and that is a big plus for people like me who enjoy changing stations etc. with one hand. The preset stations as well as volume control, seek and scan features, fade, balance, and anything else you can think of are extremely easy to figure out.
THe sound quality is both penetrating and intense when you want it to be, but simple and clear as well. Few consoles allow such a dramatic change without sacrificing quality in some arena. (Let me take this time to say that, although i see no reason to get a system that is louder than your last one when you dont even turn it up all the way, i would drop just about any system i had to get this one installed)
Well, we have addressed the quality and ease of use, but we come to the ever-present evil in all realms of purchasing - cost. This system is pretty pricy, so i have a bit of advice before buying this product. Be prepared to spend the money, but you will not be disappointed. I would not recommend buying this system for a lesser car or for a short time.
I do not know if this is standard, but i can say that I got my installation for free with this system. So, all in all, this is perhaps the best one out there that i have seen. Go buy it, and have a great day :).
