Great picture name brand TV at reasonable price

Bought this TV as our main family room unit. Looked at flat screens, but unless you fork out for a Sony, it was not worth the price difference - picture quality on this unit is great and the screen isn't far off flat. Also, it's one of the few black/gray units left if you need to match to your 90s era VCR/home theater units! Operation and set-up very easy. Sound is pretty good but not as good as the newer Surround Panasonic unit that replaces this one.
A few niggling complaints:
Switching from TV speakers to Audio out speakers is too cumbersome and it's either/or, not both. Significant delay in channel switching after entering the channel number on remote (but not when surfing, which is good!). Also, no 'return' button on remote.
Forget a flat screen for now, buy a cheaper unit like this one and wait for HDTV units to drop in price.
