Well I spent 7 hours TV shoppping. I had my mind made up I was going to get a sony TV. I then walked up to purchase the sony which was $700 more and I saw this T.V on an HDTV broadcast. This TV was awesome looking, and made the sony look not so good. The sony TV was an analog while this one is a digital.

This TV is for people who want to prepare for the future of HD TV, and for people who like to watch DVDs.

Since DVDs are digital this TV displays them clearer than normal analog TVs.

THis is an HDTV, and has the best sound out of any flatscreen TV I have ever heard. IT sounds like a stereo system, and has built in 3d-Surround sound.

The controls are easy to hookup and understand.

The size of this TV allows it to fit in most 32 inch TV size shelves, and it does not weigh near as much as the sony TV's.

THis TV is by far the clearest compared to others in the price range.

If you want to go digital for a great price then I rec. this TV.

Also if you get a digital TV you have to get a prog. scan dvd player with component output to enjoy the most realistic picture you have ever seen. Also surround sound is nice addon. But this TV has such a great sound you don't need it.
