The Bottom Line:
You get a lot of TV for the price. You can't go wrong
I've had this TV since January. I was going to buy a projection TV until I saw this one. It was next to the Sony 36" and the color was the same. The Sony has more "extra" features but you will also pay more. The extra feature do not make for a better quality tv but just one for someone that likes gadgets.
My only disappointment is the quality of the sound. There is too much Mid Range and not enough bass. You can try to adjust the sound through the internal EQ but it still doesn't sound so great. I end up running this TV through the surround sound system. When lowering the volume, 4 is the lowest you can go. At level 3 there is no sound....that doesn't seem smart. I can live with that.
Watching a DVD through the component hook-up is amazing! I came from a 27" RCA TV so to me this looks incredible!
Programming is very simple
Overall this is a great TV with plenty of room to hook up extra components.
