36" Picture, Better than a projection TV
I pondered for almost two months for a new TV, but first a little background on my situation. I am upgrading from a 27" Magnavox. I recently moved into my new home and quickly realized that the 27" was simply inadequate. So with permission from the wife, I set out to find a 36" TV. I have a... Read full review »
Engagement present.
Believe it or not, this was an engagement present. I basically could pick out whatever tv I wanted and I chose this bad-boy. I really liked this tv and the 36" in Sony Wega equally, but they had a sale at Best Buy and I got it for about $700.00 less than the Wega. The Picture is great especially... Read full review »
Good TV
I've had this TV since January. I was going to buy a projection TV until I saw this one. It was next to the Sony 36" and the color was the same. The Sony has more "extra" features but you will also pay more. The extra feature do not make for a better quality tv but just one for someone that likes... Read full review »
Stay clear!
This will be relatively short. We're on our fourth TV of this model and have basically had enough. The first set's widescreen picture looked like a crooked picture, going down from the left. The second set was fine horizontally, but the vertical lines on the right would suddenly skew off hard to... Read full review »
I'm happy with the purchase
When I saw this TV at a closeout price, I knew it was time to make the move. This HDTV ready TV has one of the best pictures when compared with any other brand, including Sony. Getting the TV delivered was also a good choice as it weighs over 200 pounds. Upon delivery, the geometry of the picture... Read full review »
A very good HDTV especially for the price
The TV is well worth the price of $1300. Of course the picture is as good as the signal that you put into it. The line doubler helps with the picture quality in analog and the HDTV picture is excellent with HD shows that are video taped or live. Those with HDTV will know what I mean. All HD... Better than Sony.
I have owned Sony TVs and still have one. So naturally I started looking at Sony when I was ready for a 36-inch non-projection TV. I also checked out other 36-inch Toshibas, Samsungs, etc. This Panasonic model CT-36HX41 beat them all in clarity, picture, color and beat the Sony KV-36XBR400 in... Read full review »
Don't buy Panasonic
I bought this TV about 1 year ago, and I was pretty satisfied with it up until it broke down. The picture was great, and then suddenly it started to deform and shift to the side to a point where I couldn't see the images on the right side of the screen. I called Panasonic and they sent a service... Read full review »
It fits!
I have had this set for about 6 months. I got it as a replacement for a CT-36HX40 which was almost identical. I made my initial purchase based on picture quality which I felt was on par with the Sony. They each have their strong points. The Panny was about $500 less than the Sony and finally it is...
