Undependable; making promises it cannot keep
Panasonic's DMR-EZ475V is a fair-priced DVD / VCR recorder. The unit is loaded with features, and presents with a one-stop-shop resume for tape and disk use, including an array CD and DVD formatting and reading options. Unfortunately, the EZ475 dupes the director of "human resources."... Read full review »
Nothing but headaches
This is the 3rd Panasonic DVD Recorders that I have used. My previous two Panasonic DVD recorders died after 14 months each. I do use them hard, but less than 18 months for a new recorder is bad. I don't feel like needing BlueRay with this unit performing so good. I have few other brands with so called upscaled features but none as... Read full review »

One snafu so far is recording Sony Hi-8 analog tape to Disc, could not get...

Thank god for the reset button.
The headaches this device causes has made write my first product review. I'm glad the engineers had the foresight to put a reset button on the front panel. It's a shame they didn't correct the issues that make it necessary. Sometimes I'll put a disk in and the unit will just hang. Similar units... Read full review »
