Our Panasonic will not read DVDs which are formatted according to the unit's specifications and properly finalized. The DVDs play on two computers, a Sylvania DVD player, and a Sony DVD player. Panasonic support people claim that they do not guarantee that even DVDs made in acceptable formats will play on their device. The support people won't replace it because they claim is it not broken and there is nothing wrong with it even if it won't play DVDs many other devices will.
This is a piece of junk which Panasonic will not support. Panasonic needs to decide whether they want to stay in business by supporting their products and replacing junk or get out.
