Panasonic DVD-LS5 5 in. Portable DVD Player

Contrary to what you made read elsewhere (in other reviews, on the box, or on Panasonic's web site), THE DVD-LS5 will play DVD+RW discs. (Before purchasing this model, I bought an RCA DRV-612N which is supposed to play DVD+RW discs but in reality only managed to play 10-20% of my collection.) I took a couple of DVD+RW discs to Circuit City in search of a model that could accommodate my library. I tried the LS5 on a lark (since it's not SUPPOSED to be able to handle DVD+RW discs) and, lo and behold, it played every one of them. I doubt that it's application specific but in case you're wondering, I create my DVD+RWs using either Pinnacle InstantCopy 7 or Pinnacle Studio 8. The ability of the unit to play all of my discs along with its portability and price convinced me to purchase the unit.
