Nice solid player
I've had this player for almost a year now. A real solid player with no major glitches.
CASE: Nice and solid. It's two-tone grey plastic and seems fairly strong. No signs of cracks, misalignment or wear so far. The screen folds down to cover the controls when closed.

Short durability

Panasonic makes the best portable DVD players

Error Code H03
I purchased a Panasonic DVD-LS50 7" Portable DVD Player on November 23, 2004. The motor died in April 2005 with an error code H03.

Lots of function

I too got an H03 error code after 2 months of ownership of this product. I will get it repaired if the cost is reasonable but I think Panasonic should recall this batch manufacture to redeem itself.
