GREAT DVD PLAYER VOLUME WORKS ON PLANES!

Nice video but audio volume is problematic
Just bought this an took it on a long airplane ride hoping to pass the time a little more quickly. But I could not get the volume loud enough to hear any music or dialog with headphones - so pretty much useless. stay away from Panasonic
The DVD player itself works fine. Although, you do NOT receive 12 hours of playback. I would say it's more like 6 hours. In small writing on the box, it does say you have to have the brightness set at the lowest level and use headphones.

We've had this player for about 3 months, used it a total of 3 hours, if that. The player was on for about 15 min before the screen went completely black.
