Panasonic DVD-LV50 5 in. Portable DVD Player

I originally bought this product for use while I travel on my job. After receiving it and using it, I can't imaging not having it with my 3 children! It is the perfect compact size to move easily from one television to another. My children can also watch movies in the car on trips and on airplanes as well.

The best place I have used this with my children is while waiting in the Doctors office...my children were able to watch their favorite movie during the painful waiting process!

The sound quality through the speakers is a little boxy but when you use headphones (which must be purchased separately) you won't believe your ears. It's like sitting in the theatre. The screen is a bit small but when you're on the go, it's all you need.

While the unit does get quite hot during operation, it is never too hot for sitting on your lap.

I have found that the battery charges very fast (after the initial charging) and lasts a good 3 hours. You can easily watch 2 movies on the same charge and I love the fact that you can charge your battery while watching a move since all you do is hook the battery on and plug the unit in.

It's also nice on trips to hook your camcorder to it and watch your home videos!

I have the case logic portable CD case and it works very will with this unit and also provides a place for the battery, headphones, and cables to hook to a television set.
We plan on taking this to the Beach with us not only to entertain my children on the 14 hour trip but when we get there, we can very easily hook it to the TV in our Condo and watch all of our own movies.
