Panasonic DVD-LV65 5 in. Portable DVD Player

Granted, I haven't examined the entire market of products, but this thing is awesome. It's like having a home theater in the palm of your hand. Sound quality is outstanding with headphones. I was hearing ambiance that you would never know existed when watching on your living room set. Some may say the screen is too small. All I can say is get a hold of one and see for yourself. Remember, this is a PERSONAL device. If easy-to-use, compact and high-quality are what your looking for, look no further. I was half in the bag when I came home and started playing with this thing, and I was up and running (Matrix) with-in 2 minutes . . . never even opened the manual. The only concern I have is the 2.5 hours of battery-life. I've been trying to locate an extended replacement battery, but have failed to do so. There has been quite a bit of comment on the shiney, black case that smudges very easily. This is true, but really has no effect on quality or performance in my mind. This is perfect for a second player in the bedroom as well. All of the necessary cables are provided. One other negative. . . . no carrying case. I cant wait to use it on my trip over seas.
