Panasonic DVD-LV70 7 in. Portable DVD Player

When I got the package I felt like it was christmas and I was about to open the present your parents always save for last because it's the one you pestered them for for the past 12 months. I ripped into that box like the world was coming to an end. Impressed isn't a strong enough word for what I felt when I saw the player. The overall look of player is great!! It weights next to nothing and it is so compact. I charged the battery and as soon as it was charged I was ready to start watching movies! I had heard that the speakers in the player were somewhat weak so I purchased (2) pairs of Panasonic RP-HT21 headphones (4.95 each) and got a splitter so my wife could listen in too. I'm glad I did because the speakers on the player are OK but not great. The headphones on the other hand are awesome, especially with the V.S.S(Virtual Surround Sound) on. I would recommend getting some headphones. The picture quality is great. Really clear and crisp. You can adjust the brightness of the picture (which affects the battery life, the brighter the picture the less battery life you get) zero looked good to me. Speaking of the battery it lasted forever, 4 to 5 hours, enough for two movies. It comes with a really small remote that is easy to use. I would use it when you use the player for your home.

You get sucked into the movie. You don't even realize that it is only a 7" widescreen. I let a co-worker of mine use the player and he was so impressed that he is getting himself one. This is a great product so I can understand the price tag that goes along with it. The only negative things I can say about the Panasonic DVD LV-70 are concerning the speakers and the price, everything else is perfect!! I would recommend this dvd player to anyone even if you don't travel all the time.
