Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX07 Digital Camera Rivals Canon SD800 IS
I have enjoyed using the 6-Megapixel Panasonic FX01 and now have a chance to use the 7.2-Megapixel Panasonic FX07. The FX07 is similar to the Canon SD800 IS: it has compact design, wide angle lens, large LCD and optical image stabilization. The Canon SD800 is slightly more compact, the Panasonic... Panasonic Lumix...Don't lose that charger!
This is my camera. I love my little sleek black camera. It is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7 Digital camera. It takes still pictures with numerous settings, it takes videos that I can put onto my computer with ease.
I bought this camera for myself for 299.99 at Circut City. With it I...

DMC-FX7: The best ultra-compact digicam so far....
Context:
I have owned several very compact digicams (digital cameras) before this, including the Casio QV-R40 and the Pentax Optio S4.
I generally buy only very small (ultra-compact) digicams, because my usage pattern is that I need the camera with me almost at all times. On a...

An appealing camera... not perfect, but very good
I purchased this camera after considering models by Canon (SD800) and Fuji (F30, mainly). There were several things that led me to choose Panasonic. First, I felt that the feel of this camera was better than any of its competition. The Fuji was larger than most ultra-compacts, in that it had quite... Read full review »
Great Camera
I have owned the Panasonic Lumix FZ10 for several years, but it is quiet bulky and large. It's great for taking fancy picture but not fun to stick in your pocket during a birthday dinner or other fun event.
Because I was already fond of the Panasonic name I was thrilled to find a small...

Great "Shirt Pocket Shooter"
As an owner of a Pentax Optio S, I was quite skeptical at first. My Fiance fell "in love" with this camera, almost immediately.
The image quality was amazing, the motion video (something I'm not interested in, but tried out anyway) looks quite good at 30fps, and of course the camera is...

well built convenient camera
I bought this camera because of it's size and the digital image stabilization that I hoped would allow me to take indoor shots without a flash. For the most part I was happy with the camera. It's even smaller then it's physical dimensions suggest. Much smaller the the Canon SD500 although their... Read full review »
Image stabilization does not live up to its promises
For marketing reasons, digicam manufacturers are cramming ever more pixels into ever smaller (and thus cheaper to manufacture) sensors. Something has to give, namely electronic noise, the equivalent of TV static when a signal is not strong enough (as indeed not enough photons reach each tiny pixel... Read full review »
I love this camera
I purchased this camera after purchasing and subsequently returning a defective Canon. This camera is loaded with features. This little Panasonic offers not only the standard picture settings such as normal, maco, scenery, sport, and night, it also offers soft skin, food, fireworks, beach, starry... Read full review »
Fantastic Camera
I loved this camera. Fast shutter speed for a digital camera. The burst mode is great for sports. The large LCD looks great and can be backlit for bright sunlight. Quickly get used to not having a viewfinder and with the anti-shake technology helps a lot.
Unfortunately I dropped mine on...

The slim and stylish Lumix FX75, a 14.1-megapixel digital camera is one of Panasonic's high-performing hybrid models with the ability to not only take high-quality still photos, but can also record HD video in the AVCHD Lite format. Also, the user can click onto a subject with a single touch, and the FX75 then tracks the subject with the AF tracking feature--even when moving. The touch-screen operation is fluid and smooth--whether in record or playback mode. While recording, once the frame is composed, users can simply touch the area they want focused before pressing the shutter button. In playback mode, users can drag the image across the screen with their finger to browse the collection of photos, as though it is a page in a book. Panasonic's iA (Intelligent Auto) mode, a hallmark on all Lumix digital cameras, is further advanced in the Lumix FX75 with the addition of a new Motion Deblur mode by updating the motion detection (Intelligen
