Blurred dark pictures especially indoors. Editing software is not good

I decided to upgrade my older Olympus for this. After reading the other reviews I would like to know what I am doing wrong. Couldn't e-mail pictures because files were too big. Fixed that. Don't have any pictures I want to send because there is always a blur. Indoor pictures are useless because they are so dark and blured, no matter what setting I use. Also the editing software is aweful.
