Yes
The Bottom Line:
For the price, if all you need is a dvd player this is worth buying. Hey, why spend more money when this is very good.
Well we have kids, and anyone with kids will know that sometimes spending a little less on an item as some sort of crystal ball, insurance policy can be a good idea.
Only last year I had a VCR play out on me, after further inspection, it was filled with toys and food, lol ! Never quite got that unit working again. So with things like this happening from time to time paranoia takes over and we look for a pricebusters item.
Which lead me to the super affordable Panasonic DVD-S29 dvd player. Its exterior look was nice and sleek looking, and it had things written on the box to make a consumer feel good like: High Quality Picture, Easy to Use, and Clear Sound. Sometimes I get nervous on the cheaper electronic items but its not impossible to find a jewel here or there.
Well it took all of five minutes to get this dvd player setup and working. You could tell it didnt have the same feel as a much more expensive setup, but things looked like everything was going to be perfect with this one.
About 2 months have passed and I can report no problems with this dvd player. It does its job and for the money, it does its job well. Im using the basic RCA outputs with this one and I cannot complain on the quality of the picture. Its a billion times better than watching a vhs tape, and for the price its worth it.
If your looking for a cheap/affordable dvd player you can purchase this one with little fear. You can save plenty of cash and use this model. Especially for an average kinda person who doesnt need all the extra bells and whistles.
The Panasonic DVD-S29 plays dvd video, compact disc, has dolby digital sound, dts, RAM compatible player, dvd-r video playback, CD-R/RW playback, Windows Media, MP3 playback, JPEG playback, and something called HIGH-MAT.
The remote feels a little weird but does its job, and for the price you just feel good about the purchase. This one is not bad, not bad at all.
