Panasonic PT-45LC12 45 in. HDTV-Ready LCD TV

Well when I decided I was going to buy a gooood flat panel monitor rather than Big screen TV.My reasoning being that I'm using the computer more than I'm watching TV.However I do like to watch a good movie almost every night.So here I am at Fry's,bouncing back and forth between the Computer Dept.,and Big screen TV's.My original plan was a Plasma display that would take care of both.Monitor and Big screen TV.However 2 weeks of researching with Google and talking with a lot of confusing salespeople.I decided plasma was to new and to much for me.Then I ran across the Panasonic PT-40LC12.I knew then that was the answer.Well the display I saw was O.K. for cable and they were playing a promotional video tape on it-impressive but not worthy $3,200.00 of my dollars,with out the matching stand yet. Then I discovered DealTime through Google.Within a week I had the perfect system in my home,for $1500.00 less than any local store including FRY's.Thanks to the people who write these reviews (thats why I'm taking the time to write one),the wonderfull Google search site,and the most polite,thick accented,(middle-eastern I think)gentleman, that calls his company "MY DIGITAL UNIVERSE" out of New Jersey.Well let me tell you,it wasn't easy to pay someone $3100.00 for something I hadn't seen,because I was getting the PT-45LC12,a matching stand of which only pics were available and the Panasonic Progressive Scan PV-D4762 DVD,that I had only read about.Maybe I was just lucky but the end result.....Its just the most perfect system.I'm a happy camper,or should say surfer.The progressive scan DVD is a must it makes the LCD picture PERFECT.
