The Bottom Line:
Look for a newer product
I purchased this TV about 2 years ago for about $1300. It was a good deal at the time and it has been doing ok, but lately its developing some problems.
The HD channels on Comcast still ok very good and are almost perfect. Mostly the problem has been the red bleed over. It is mostly notable on the menus when the text is white. I can't adjust for the red bleeding into the letters no matter how I adjust the convergence. The picture is more effected on standard non-HD channels.
The convergence is the main problem with this set. Eventhough all the cross hairs are adjusted properly, the red on the left side of the screen is off by about 1/4 on an inch. Sometimes if I move the mester center crosshairs full in every direction it seems to help, but the next day it in back to being off. Most of the time I have to off set the crosshairs to adjust, unfortunately it throws off the more central areas, but at least you don't get nauseated when looking at the left side of the screen.
Panasonic does not seem to be any help short of sending a repairman out to charge thier exhorbitant fees to "look" at it. Until it's completely unwatchable, I guess I will just deal with it.
Overall, it still is a nice size set and it gets the HD channels and displays them reasonably well when it is new, but it seems to bleed more with time.
Bottom line, look for another set now that there are many more out there unless you can pick this up for a great deal
