The Bottom Line:
Good buy. I would recommend Panasonic's LCD TVs though as opposed to LCD projection TV that are now dated.
I bought this 2 years ago at PC Richards as a display unit. very happy with the unit.
Good picture, lots of options in terms of picture size. Picture can be split, can accept two inputs. Easy to use remote control. Remote can also control lots of other devices. Has a night light feature on the remote.
Has stood the test of ruggedness with 2 boys in the house... it is on each day for 4-8 hours each day or more. Remote is sturdy, no complaints, built well.
I am not sure how it does it but seems to accept PAL input or it must be that my DVD player is converting the same to NTSC.
Has PC input so I play all my mpegs etc from my computer. It reads and play all my photos on my SD Card. VGA connection, Video connections and SD Card slot available up front. Has lots of video inputs and types of connections, I did not need any more that what this TV offered.
Surprisingly the audio is very good, I have been very pleased. I use my Home Theater system elsewhere in the house.
I bought this system with a 5 year warranty so any problems and bulb replacement will be taken care by dealer. I am hoping I will not need any service for atleast a few years.
I have very good experience with Panasonic - I had what used to be called a Panasonic Stereo 2-in-1 (Cassette/Radio boombox) that served us well for 2 decades!
