Panasonic PT-L785U LCD Projector

My organization purchased this projector for our large 50-seat theatre, after having favorable results with Panasonic's PT-L735 in another room. Excellent brightness, very sharp resolution, and a stunning array of A/V input options.

Less than 6 months after installation, the mainboard failed, causing a time-consuming warranty repair. 9 months later, the same failure occurred again. Panasonic hasn't wowed us with their customer service. Quick turnaround is definitely not a hallmark of their support network. We have been down for over a month, and still no replacement in sight.

Component failures are bound to happen once in a while, but getting those problems resolved quickly is essential for business customers--especially considering the $3000 plus we paid for this unit--and Panasonic just isn't cutting it. We liked the projector--when it worked.
