This vcr is by far and away the best that I have ever used. I have had difficulties with vcrs before, but never with this one. I am amazed with some vcrs at how it seems as though they were designed to be as user unfriendly as possible. Sometimes there will be no button to bring up the menu on the remote control, and it will have to be operated while kneeling in front of the vcr. This is not the case here. The vcr is unbelievably simple to hook up, everything is operatable from the remote, and it works with the same remote I have for my Panasonic tv. I highly recommend this vcr if you have a Panasonic tv already.
