Rewind or Fast Backward?

My husband and I right before Christmas purchased this vcr. I've personally always had wonderful luck with anything panasonic but this was my first panasonic vcr. What originally attracted us to it was it's brand name, price, and was a four head vcr and because we could run our surround
sound speakers through it. My favorite thing about this particular vcr is how FAST it rewinds tapes, it's incredibly fast! Another nice feature is the back up for the clock incase the power goes out, you won't have to reset the time,face it, how many of us have items flashing 12:00? The remote is nice because it is universal, allowing you to control not only the vcr but the tv and dss as well.There is even a eject button right on it. The only disappointment I have with this product is that I was under the impression that the remote was lighted, and indeed it is, but only the section that has fast forward,rewind,stop,play. The numbers and channel and volume keys do not light. So far I have been extremely happy with this product and have liked it above the previous 3 different vcr's that I have owned.
