Panasonic PV-9451 VHS VCR

I bought this to replace another panasonic hifi stereo i gave to another family member. This vcr has practically everything you could want or need. from auto head cleaner to vcr plus, complete remote, and many auto features such as self programming channels to clock and date. The sound is so clear and crisp it is as close to digital as you can get. With my surround sound stereo it brings movies to life. It is like night and day compared to my other vcr that was stereo as I mentioned earlier. Ilove the picture quality also. It is so clear it is actually clearer watching a movie than watching a cable channel. The fast forward and rewind is incredibly fast and this vcr is even energy star compliant. to set it up is a bit confusing at first because the directions were not too clear on how to set up vcr plus but i played around with it and figured it out. I find the vcr plus to be useless to be honest. It is just as easy to put the time in the machine rather than to look it up in the tv guide to find out your code #'s and everything. Other than that the vcr is simple to use and is the size of a component in a home theater system and matches the technics rack system I own (another reason for the purchase for compatability along with panasonics reputation and my great past experiences with their products)
