Heads Up!!
Pros
superb sound and picture
Cons
instructions for set up are mind boggling
Recommended it?
Yes
I bought this VCR for the most common reason. My old one died.
Wanting to increase my listening pleasure, I went for the Hi-Fi stereo sound which did not disappoint. The light tower remote control was another plus. Works very efficiently with but a modicum of difficulty. And it is cool looking! Picture quality is unbeatable.
The ease of programming is the best quality and anyone who wants a system that requires almost no time to program once it is set up, well this is the one.
Set up....that brings us to the one problem. It has on screen set up and should be a snap, under perfect conditions. Those perfect conditions were not present for me. I spent two days before I discovered, in the fine print, that if your cable is remote controlled you had to make sure there was no interference in the infrared signal. And guess what? The wooden partition in the entertainment center was a problem!
But all that said, I give this VCR...4 heads up!!
