I bought the Panasonic PV-D209 because we wanted a camcorder to film our children growing up. This the best camcorder for the money. Especially if you are on a budget. It is simple to use, and compatible with your current VCR.
It delivers good quality detail without breaking the bank. If you are a beginner and are intimated by technology this is your machine. It has image stabilizer, which keeps the camera from moving.It has a nice digital zoom that zeroes in on the objects far away.
Our pictures are of very high quality, and this is the second camcorder by Panasonic we purchased. Very dependable.
Don't buy if you want the future. This is not a digital camcorder.
