I bought this video camera pretty much because it was the cheapest of Panasonic's video cameras, and that is a very trusted brand. My last video camera was also from Panasonic. This video camera, although cheap, has been very good so far. It's easy to use; basically you just press a red button to record, and the other features are easy to use. There isn't any extremely fancy features, but there is zoom, fade out, a color viewfinder, a light, image stabilization, time lapse, and a titler. After you take something, you can watch it right back on the VCR of the camera. The zoom can go up to 150X with the digital zoom.
Probably the best thing about the camera is that it is very lightweight. You can carry it around for a while, and your arm doesn't really get tired. If you're looking for a professional video camera, don't get this; you get what you pay for in a way, but for the common folk, it's more than good enough!
