This is really not so much a comment on this model, but on dealing with Panasonic. After buying this at Circuit City, I found out that the DVD door was broken. Circuit City told me to break it in and they would replace it. Frankly, the idea of lugging the tv back and then lugging a replacement home again was more than a bit offputting. Since the door was a cheap plastic part that could be snapped into place, I decided to contact Panasonic directly and order the part. Well, after spending a day being thwarted by their utterly impenetrable automated phone system, I gave up. You simply can't get through to the parts department no matter how long you are on the phone.
