I have had this TV for a little over two years now which was bought from Target for $499 plus taxes.

I have only incurred in one downfall with this TV. When you try to fix the TV yourself through troubleshooting on the website, it's nearly impossible!

What had happened was, I accidently did not see that there was a DVD in the DVD spot already and ended up putting a second DVD in its place. When I pushed close and the DVD slot closed, it wouldn't play (obviously from the mistake I made!) And all of a sudden a funny whirring noise came about and I knew I did something wrong. My guy and I tried to take the TV apart ourselves. TOTAL nightmare! The extra DVD ended up getting pulled out by some tweezers about two hours later.

This combo TV is nice, but could have been larger. 27 inch was the largest combo I could find. The next TV I will buy will be larger (but of course) and the backing won't be CHUNKY. Chunky is the old school style I suppose.

As long as you don't make the mistake I made with the DVD doubling up, and don't mind the chunkiness, then you will love this TV. The manufacturer COULD have made the DVD part smarter so I wouldn't have made such a silly mistake! Oh yeah, because of my boo boo, the VCR section has a funny knack in making it work. To get the VHS tape out of the spot, you have to lift the lip and eject a couple times. Yup, it's time for a new TV!
