I received this camera as a gift 1-1/2 years ago and I consider it one of the best gifts I have ever received. The final cost was $275.00 after a rebate of $50.00 This is the first camcorder I own an I love it. I've had the opportunity to use other cameras but not as good as this camcorder. This one is It!
Among the features I like most are that the LCD monitor can rotate to view at your convenience. You can display a message according to the special moment (Christmas, New Year's Eve, 4th of July, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, Etc.) You can fade your picture to avoid abrupt transitions. It has an Image stabilizer for unstable situations (It really works!) Great security features (automatically records when motion is detected). Great Zoom. The video quality is excellent. Its compact size allows you to carry it anywhere.
