Great camcorder & digital in ONE!
Pros
Takes great pictures
Cons
resolution is not as good as a digital camera
Recommended it?
Yes
WE brought this camcorder right before Christmas because it was our son's first Christmas, and we didn't want to miss a thing. We did ALOT of shopping around, and I mean ALOT, we shopped till we dropped. We wanted a good camcorder plus the advantage of digital "still" pics too. This way we could upload pics to the internet without having to scan them.
It has been a great camcorder & camera!! It tapes every clear and sound it great! It also has the side LSD screen which is nice when you don't want to look through the viewfinder. We can get ALOT of "in action pics" with the digital. We weren't sure at first how good the still pictures would turn out because the resolution isn't as good as what it would be if you bought a digital camera by itself. But it is better than what we thought. It is really great!! I love being able to just hook it up to the PC and upload.
Also its is a VHS-C which we liked a little better over the 8 MM, we like the quick easy way to watch it with the VHS, it just pops into the VHS adapter tape.
I would recommend this product to anyone, its user-friendly, lightweight, and has alot of the things that people look for in a camcorder plus the digital!!
