Whether you're a jet-setting world traveler or a proud new parent, the Panasonic Palmcorder PVL659 is the perfect camcorder for capturing all of life's special moments on film.
Its compact design and lightweight feel make it easy for smaller hands to hold and operate, which was an important factor for me as a woman consumer. I wanted a camcorder that I could hold and operate as easily as my husband could, and this one fit the bill.
I also love the fact that I can pack it up and run out the door with it to sporting events or for a day in the park. (There's even an adapter available to charge the battery while you're in the car!)
Once your footage is on tape, you can review it on the crystal clear 4-inch LCD monitor for editing, or pop the mini cassette into the VHS converter and it's ready to play right on your home VCR.
This really is a great little camera for everyday use - and with a built in light, 150x-zoom and image stabilization you can get some pretty terrific home videos.
My one suggestion is to always have a spare battery available since the battery runs down fairly quickly, but otherwise I would highly recommend this model to anyone. I just love this camcorder!
