We bought our VCR a little more than a year ago right after we got married and only thing I can say about this VCR is --Wow! It has everything-- great picture quality, clear sound, easy controls, a universal remote, and simple recording. All this for fewer than 200 dollars! This is definitely one of your best choices if you are looking for a good reliable VCR.
The picture and sound are astounding. Crystal clear images populate the screen as you watch you favorite movie. Also you become immersed in the excellent stereo sound. Watching your favorite movie will become an all around better experience with this VCR. Panasonic, always known for making a great product, has once again come through with a great piece of equipment at a great price.
The universal remote and ease of use are great features about this VCR. With the universal remote you can control all of your VCR's functions, and after you do some simple programming, you set up the remote for you TV also. So you get to cut down on your number of remotes. All of the programming is accessible through one on-screen menu. It's easy to navigate through this menu and find what you are looking for. I must say that I have always found pre-set recording to be hard on previous VCRs, but this is an exception. All you have to do is bring up a menu and punch in the time for beginning and the time for stopping, and you are ready. If you are looking for a new VCR or are not satisfied with your current one, the go out and buy the Panasonic PV-S7680. With all of these features, how can you go wrong?
