good dvd player
Pros
Simple straightforward design and buttons. Panasonic designers did a nice job.

I purchased from Circuit City for $57 in June '06. Panasonic obviously was focused on creating a simple straightforward design, with easy to use buttons. Quality of unit seems very good. Picture quality of the movies we've played is also very good. I use it on a standard TV. If you have an HDTV, this may not be the right unit to take advantage of the high resolution screen. I haven't had this DVD-S1 player very long but so far Panasonic lives up to its good name. Overall, I give it two thumbs up.
