I have owned this TV for over a year. I have friends with LCD, DLP, and other brands of plasma. The Panasonic has by far the best picture and sound of all of them. True colors, no motion blur, and a great menu system. The speakers on this unit are excellent, they are quality speakers with great sound compared to most TV speakers. I don't want to turn on the surround every time I watch TV. With this TV, I don't have to. I highly recommend this TV to anyone in the market. For me it was an easy decision. DLP's were too big, LCD's in the 50" range were too expensive (over $1000 more), so I went with plasma despite hearing about burn in, etc. I am glad I took the plasma route. The picture quality is far beyond the DLP's and the LCD's I have seen.
