So Far, So Good
Pros
Good picture and sound with the built in subwoofer.
Cons
Wish it had 3 HDMI inputs instead of 2 (XBOX 360, PS3, and cable).
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
For the plasma technology to still be here, it must be a good contender to the LCD technology, and I still love it.
Great plasma. It is a definite upgrade over my older Sony plasma. Having this T.V. gives me a good excuse to rent a Blue-Ray DVD and watch it on here. Good colors and contrast is what makes the picture stand out in HD, a little darker picture than the Sony XBR LCD I was considering at first but no real big complaints. I learned from my last plasma that you should not cut it off and on too frequently or this might cause it to have problems. I like the black piano finish; it gives it that classy look. The auto shut off feature is nice when I leave the room and forget to turn it off. I chose the Panasonic because they were the highest ranked in plasma technology and I wanted to stay in the plasma family because of the refresh rate when playing video games with fast images compared to LCD TV's. I play the PS3 and XBOX 360 a lot on it and didn't want to have any issues of blurring. If you look at what they cost now compared to what I paid for this last Christmas, it looks like an even better deal now. I Guess I should have waited.... nah.
