Unless this particular item was just an unlucky lemon, I would advise anyone to run screaming.
I took my time comparing the features which I wanted and decided upon this model.
The headset is adjustable and is easily changed from a headband model to an earpiece. It can be worn on either ear. There is a noise-canceling microphone with a slider-switch. (Be careful not to accidentally bump it or you will cancel your conversation too.)
Imagine my surprise when I plugged my new headset into my Panasonic 2.4Ghz digital cordless telephone, dialed a few family members, and was told that I could hardly be heard, even when using the maximum "LOUD" setting. The sound quality is poor, and voices sound faraway and muffled.
Everything improves immensely when the headset is unplugged. Of course, that defeats the whole purpose of purchasing a headset!
Back it goes for a full refund.
