The video recorder is okay for most events, however the battery life does not seem to last very long.
The sound is fine, but often times it picks up on too much background noise.
The play back feature seems to take up a lot of battery power, so if you do not have an ac outlet, the battery charge does not seem to last very long.
The zoom features are good, but it is hard to keep the camcorder as stable and the subject in focus.
The small size is a positive feature, and it is very lightweight for travel.
This model does not take very good still life pictures.
The pictures are not very sharp or clear. When I have tried to download on my computer the pictures are fuzzy.
I have tried to adjust the sharpness on the unit as well, but the pictures just aren't as sharp as using a digital camera with higher megapixals.
I played back the still pictures I took on a digital pictureframe, as well as made some prints, but unfortunately it didn't make a difference on the sharpness. I even tried to adjust on my computer using different photo software but again no luck to improve the quality.
It did take an okay nightshot of a fireworks show, so the low light feature did work okay.
So basically this camcorder is okay, nothing special.
Would not really recommend this one.
