Good for CDs, but NOT for mp3s

Pros Small size and weight, nice unit. Sound quality. Load time. Basic functions.
Cons remote has limited display and no backlight. Bad mp3 features/navigation. Not recommended for mp3s.
Recommended it? No
This is not my first mp3 player, I have 3 others. I was looking to get a newer model mp3 player. For the price, it seems relatively cheap. But after using it I found out why, because the mp3 navigation sucks. It doesn't display the id tag (song titles) until it is actually playing (spinning and loading) the song. So unlike other mp3 players that have the selection menu of song titles you can view and select BEFORE you play it, this one just displays the folder number and the track number. If you wanted to play a particular song on a mp3 CD with 10 different album folders and 15 songs within each folder, you'd waste alot of time/battery to search for the song while you keep forwarding from folder to folder and song to song. The mp3 navigation is bad. It also has a program function, but again, you cannot see the track titles, only the track numbers, when you program your playlist. It is only during the playback that you can actually see the track titles. Of course, if you play regular audio CDs then this wouldn't matter (but there's less expensive CD players out there...)
