Great sound, great design great battery life
I owned a Panasonic SLSX500 CD player for about 5 years so i knew what to expect form these guys.
Well not quite.
Cd players are built so fragile these days. The salesman where i bought it wasn't surprised to hear me ask him about it... The old one has a much more solid cover retaining clip than this unit (same shape, half the size and thickness), and no way to fast forward or rewind in a song. Annoying when getting in boring parts of some very good songs and it surprises you when you hold the next track button for the first time to see it go to the next album...
What i expected:
Headphones very uncomfortable with a much too short cord to the remote. I had this problem on the old one and bought some sony headphones to peplace them. This time, i bought a pair of panasonic earphones right when i bought the unit.
The remote is not backlit, which would have been a nice little feature.
Good surprise: the AC adapter is the same as my old cd player... got 2 now... saving batteries ;)
