great sound (the only 3 ways left/right speakers system)
Cons
no audio output for using another system

The Bottom Line:
It is the only model with 3 way speakers front units, and left/right sub woofer. Great sound, great system.
All the other home systems have one sub woofer, and small sound units for front left and front right. Well, this model has the front left/right units with 4 speakers and one bass reflex whole. The sub woofer speaker is on the side of the box. I can just imagine how much work was to assemble those units (wood boxes) and I understand why in the next model (DK 20) the manufacturer gave up the idea.
I tried to find another model with 3 way speakers front units, or with 2 subwoofers; not a single one.
It plays MP3, even if it is not writen on the main unit.
It is comfortable to have a DVD, MP3, radio and tape (autoreverse) in a toy. I spend some time listening various models and none was even close.
It has an auxiliary input. I could be happier if it had an output, to be able to enter into my computer with sources from SC-DK10. It has only a mono output, for an eventual subwoofer. The front units have already 200 wats, so I do not think I would ever need more. It has 380 wats total.
There are plenty of audio settings to play with. What I hate is:
- not having digital inputs, neither optical, neither coax
- not having s-video input
- no composite output
- no output for the sound to record in another system
- no microphone input for the Canadian version
- plastic speakers for center front and rear
The Middle East version has a better center speaker.
I hunted this model for a while. I waited until I bought the display model with 640 Canadian $, because I did not want to pay 829 Canadian $, the original price.
