The Bottom Line:
I would definitely recommend it highly! Good brand, perfect size (not too big), great sound and good price.
This sound system provides very clear sound! It can hold up to 5 DVDs or CDs in the system. It only has one drawer so you have to put the cds in one at a time. As I said in the cons: it has to go forward from cd #2 to CD #1 so it takes a while (some systems can go backwards from 2 to 1 and do not have to go all the way through 3, 4, and 5.)
We purchased it at Costco for $399 after looking at it in the Wiz for $499.
Panisonic is a name I trust. In fact, the guy at the Wiz said that the only 2 names he trusted (after working at the Wiz for 7 years) were Panisonic and Sony. He said the other brands have had too many problems.
It doesn't take up much space which is great but the sound quality is excellent!
It has "random" and all of those good CD features.
It comes with 5 speakers and a subwoofer. The bass sounds very good. Some systems don't come with a subwoofer. Since it comes with 5 speakers you can spread them out around your room for great sound all around!
I didn't feel comfortable giving it a "professional" rating because I'm not really sure what that means, but I know for my family it is more than sufficient.
