do not buy this system!!
We purchased this system last xmas for my teenage daughter, great system styling, holds 5 cds, good sound quality. TWO months later it just stopped working, the cd holder would not move or open or close. We took it to a Panasonic authorized service center immediately (March, 2005) It is now July... Recommended!
Very nice system. The receiver has the appearance of a computer (due to it's depth). The sound is rich especially if you turn on the surround sound affect combined with the automatic equalizer (I think the function is called). I highly recommend this system! Read full review »
Very nice sound from a mini shelf system

Excellent Small Space Unit - Sleek Design
I bought this for my bedroom to replace a larger, bulkier unit that had worn out over the years. It is very easy to use, has a lot of nice features (e.g., sleep timer, play all CDs loaded, tape deck) and the space-saving design makes it a terrific bureau-top or self-top unit.

Clean sound and nice looking
We bought this on Overstock for a our children's nursery. We play a mix of classical music, jazz and lullabies and all sound terrific on the "clear" equalizer setting.
