Great Music System
Pros
Great Sound, Remote, Small, 5 CDs, MP3 and WMA, mirror finish.
Cons
controls confusing at first. Fairly long from front to back.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Overall though, this Stereo kicks @$$, and compared to other Micro Systems, it's the best buy for the buck.
I wanted this system and none other. It has everything I wanted-- Small size, plays Mp3's and WMA (Windows Media Audio), 5 CD trays, Remote, Excellent quality speakers (The Subwoofers shake my floor when I turn up the volume). There are 4 different equalizer settings for adjusting the bass and treble (really improves the sound of the music). It also has a cool blue light-up display panel that shows time, album and track name (for Mp3's). Almost all the other Micro systems I looked at had 5cd trays but no Mp3 and vice versa, and the other Micro Systems that had all the features that the Panasonic had were well over $300. Some of the remote features such as the Clock and the Random play controls took me a while to figure out, but once you figure it out it's ok. The only real disappointment so far is that I haven't figured out how to make Mp3 CD's play random tracks. Maybe it does do this and I just haven't figured it out yet...? I was fairly picky on the ratings below as I would consider a 5 a no kidding professional recording studio quality piece of equiptment. And as I said, a few controls are initially confusing, but once I figured them out from the manual I have no problem using them. I put a 4 for durability because I'm sure I could kick, throw, etc. the stereo in some way to damage it, but overall it seems like solid construction.
