Cons
bad battery life, cruddy remote

Yes
The Bottom Line:
i would have a ready supply of batteries if you are planning on purchasing this. overall its pretty good for someone who doesnt really care about spending the extra buck.
(i know im going to be arrested for repeating a copyrighted slogan) buy it for looks, buy it for life. this is a good cd player. great sound but with the s-xbs bass boost system installed, youll be blown away. theres nothing much to say about this cd player. except for the battery life sucks. 2 AAA batteries last you about 45 minutes, and with 2 AA batteries, it will last you about 1 and a half hours. the am/fm feature is kind of neat. but whatever you do with this thing, do not rely on the remote control to do some operations for you. you have to practically put all of your weight into actually pressing a button and getting a response. and it makes an annoying "beep" after every time a button is pressed. and if you accidentaly dropp the cd player, like i did, its ok, not even a scratch. overall ill give it a B-.
