Looking for a great cd player?
Pros
ultra lightweight, remote, awesome sound
Cons
stock earbuds are terrible
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Must buy. Have yet to make it skip, and 100 hours battery. What more could you want?
I owned the Panasonic SL-CT580, until it broke on me (wasn't constructed that well) so i take it back for repair, long story short i get credited back 170$ (canadian) with that money and a bit more i am now in need of a cd player, so i see the SL-CT790, it's 199$ (canadian) so i decide i will get that because i was happy with my old ct580. I didn't think i could have been happier with my ct580, but this one is just amazing
pros: 100 hour battery life (40 with the Ni-MH rechargables that come with it, and 60 with 2AA thta attach externaly), it takes about 5 hours too charge, and then your good to go for days.
It has an alluminum lid and it is pretty sturdy, but not as much as a shockwave or the like.
I have yet to make it skip, it's got 48 seconds of anti shock.
cons: remote can't put unit in pause mode, and the stock earbuds are terrible.
