a good deal

Pros inexpensive, sturdy
Cons slightly tinny sound
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  good deal
This is a decent portable CD player, well worth the $40 it costs. It is plain looking and made of plastic, but durable enough that it still works after I have dropped it a few times. The best feature is a 40 second Anti-Shock memory delay feature which prevents skipping when traveling by train or car, etc. It also has a bass button which is useless for those with any taste in music. It includes a hold switch as well, which is an excellent device to prevent batteries from being depleted. Batteries seem to last longer in the machine anyway. The sound is clear, if a bit tinny and lacking in depth.
