Panasonic's Finest!

Pros Battery life, anti-skip, crystal clear sound
Cons not anything to speak of!
Recommended it? Yes
I have bought many portable cd players over the years and was never happy with any of them. There were always problems with each, until i bought my Panasonic SL-S360 portable player. This product has so many options, it has never let me down and i have owned it for almost a year now.

First off, i have always found that the players i buy have very low battery life. My previous player, the Kenwood DPC-381 consumed 4 batteries every 2-3 hours. This was nuts! That was setting me back 3-4 dollars at least once a week. It was unacceptable in my book. Upon buying the Panasonic, i found that the battery life was tremendous. They saw it will run 25 hours with 2 AA batteries, however i have found many occasions where the life exceeds 30. This is an excellent feature.

Skipping has always been a problem for cd players. They never can get the balance just right between anti-skip and delay. However the S360 comes through brillantly. With the 40 second anti-skip and virtually no delay, there is never a problem. I have traveled on many bumpy highways within our great state of Connecticut and it is smooth play all the way through.

Other nice features include hold, repeat, random selection and an amplified bass sound. All have performed well.

The sound quality is excellent. It is always crystal clear sound in which you can pick out each particular instrument/vocal piece in a song. I was very impressed from the moment i pressed play. The Panasonic SL-S360 is a great example of Japanesse craftsmanship. The price is very affordable for such an equipped player. I highly recommend picking one up if in the market for such an item.
